A Lego Batou model built in the Brickheadz style

A Brickheadz rendition of Batou from the popular Cyberpunk series: Ghost in the Shell (Specifically Stand Alone Complex, originally aired in 2002)

With these Section 9 designs, I tried to pick what their most iconic clothes and accessories were. I wanted people to know exactly what the Brickheadz was from looking at it, so I've taken some liberties with each model, but I feel I captured them all pretty well.

Other versions of Batou exist online, however I wasn't exactly happy with the designs. The inspiration Brickheadz linked below has a Batou, and I actually think this is their strongest model, (excluding the Tachikoma), but I think their colour choice is a bit simple. I tried to add in the grey collar and edging around the jacket. I also increased the ponytail size, as I found it was not particularily great in the other model. Lastly, Batou has implanted eyes, so I changed those to be clear tiles instead of the usual Brickheadz prints. This completes the look for Batou, giving him the iconic look he has in the series.

This design is based on the clothes that Batou wears most often, while he doesn't have a specific accessory, he's often seen with firearms in the show, so I added a pistol for him to wield.

As with all my Brickheadz, careful consideration was taken into making sure that the model can be built in real life, all parts are available in officially released colours, and attempts to mitigate rare colours.
